It was a cold, snowy day. October 10th 2009, We all woke up early. We were in Cody,WY with my dad, visiting Heath's Uncle Rick & Aunt Kay. We had made plans to go up on the Bald Ridge... a huge cliff over looking the beautiful scenery around Cody. Heath's family calls this place the Bald Ridge restaurant because they always go up there and BBQ during the summer. Well, due to the 4 inches of fresh snow, the road had been closed. So we all decide we're going to go up to the Buffalo Bill Dam and look around! We arrive at the dam and the gate is shut, mind you this is a national monument. So, Heath wiggles the gate and it comes open, which I do believe, since it is a natl monument, we were not supposed to go in, but Heath was being awfully persistant... Well we are meandering around and it is absolutly freezing! Heath starts wwalkign otu toward the middle(I'm not going becasue the wind blowing up the canyon is frgid) and he yells back to me, "sweetie come look at this! Its beautiful!" So I drag my hiney out there... a little perturbed that it's so cold and all of a sudden he drops down and one knee and says, "Brady there's a reason I made you come out here. Brady Nicole Markovsky, will you marry me?!" I was shocked! Well of course, I say "yes!" It was so neat, my dad and Rick were both there snapping pictures!! It was all so perfect... and to think I was so mad for him making me go out there! haha another lesson learned, there was really no point in being mad!
So... let the wedding planning begin!!
I was overwhelmed with excitement and overwhelmed with exhaustion all at the same time!! After 9 very, very long months, my little picture of perfection had finally arrived!!! Daddy was excited too!! Extremely tired but super excited!! A new chapter of our lives had just begun!
Our whole family came to join in the momentous occasion!! It was amazing the amount of love and support we were shown in those amazing days!!! We love them all!!!
